SUMMARY:PABA - Blacksmith Day
DESCRIPTION:This will be the 11th year for our public demo and education day held at Old Dry Road Farm near Blue Marsh Lake\, Wernersville\, PA (Berks County) on Saturday August 3 from 9am to 4pm.\nThis is a free\, fun\, family event to promote the craft of blacksmithing.\nThere will be forging stations set up for demonstrations and for open forging by members of the public.\nFor children there will be forging sessions using clay (no fire) to experience what forging is like.\nOver the lunch hour there will be a forging contest for chapter members and others to partake in.\nA food truck will be on site for food purchases.\nTailgating and sales: no charge for traditional “tail-gate sales” of used equipment\, etc out of your vehicle. $20 fee must be paid to Old Dry Road Farm for OTHER sales (selling your forged products\, commercial sales\, other craft sales\, etc).\nIron Master Of The Day: A Lock (your choice of what kind)\nIron In The Hat Auction.\nThis will be a big public event for our chapter\, so tell friends & family\, and publicize it far & near.\nDog friendly event.
