Food will not be provided\, so participants should bring their own lunch and snacks. Water will be available on-site. This event will take place rain or shine\, so be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. \nWho is this for? \nArborists\nProperty managers\nForesters\nWhat will you learn? \nThe school will include both classroom instruction and fieldwork covering the following topics: \nSafety and safe climbing practices\nEquipment and use of hand tools\nTree terminology\nDiagnosis of tree diseases and insect damage\nTree care\, culture\, and pruning\nTree removal\nKnots\nStudents who complete this program will not be fully trained climbers but will gain a foundational understanding of tree maintenance and climbing.
