Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Tree Checkers Program

ABOUT THE LIVE WEBINAR
Join the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Tree Checkers program this summer and help strengthen the region’s tree canopy and the communities it serves. As a trained volunteer, you will survey newly planted street trees to gather data on their condition and care needs, engage with residents to share personalized care tips, and perform light maintenance as needed. This community science initiative not only supports long-term tree health and stewardship but also generates valuable insights that guide PHS strategies around education, species selection, community engagement, and urban forestry best practices. Be part of a collective effort to ensure a thriving, resilient tree canopy across the region.

This event is offered at no charge to participants; however, a fee may apply if you wish to receive Continuing Education Credits. If seeking credits, please select the credits you wish to apply for during registration. To receive credits, you must watch the webinar during the live session for which you registered and attend the full session. Time in session will be verified before credits are assigned.
Registration is required to receive the link to access the webinar.
A link to the recorded webinar will be emailed to registrants within ten business days after the live event. The recording will be accessible for six months from the event date.
