Introduction to Agroforestry
September 24 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

ABOUT THE LIVE WEBINAR
Discover the benefits of Agroforestry in this introductory presentation with the Master Gardeners of Monroe County. Agroforestry—the intentional integration of trees and shrubs into landscapes—offers environmental, economic, and social advantages for both home and farm settings. In residential landscapes, trees and shrubs can protect streams and ponds from runoff, windbreaks can reduce soil erosion, and plantings can provide vital habitat for birds, insects, and pollinators. On farms of all sizes, agroforestry supports long-term agricultural health by diversifying practices, improving profitability, and promoting sustainability for future generations.
