ABOUT THE LIVE WEBINAR
Green industry professionals and pesticide license holders are invited to explore the latest insights in conifer health at “Turf and Ornamentals: Focus on Conifers.” The first hour of this session will highlight common and emerging diseases affecting pine, spruce, arborvitae, and other conifers, emphasizing accurate identification, disease development factors, and effective management strategies. The second hour will address major insect and mite pests impacting landscape conifers in Pennsylvania, with guidance on monitoring techniques, optimal timing of control, and integrated pest management approaches to support long-term tree health and resilience. Earn pesticide applicator recertification credits and other professional credential CEUs by watching this two-hour webinar.

All participants must be registered to receive continuing education or recertification credits.
Live webinar participants: We strongly encourage registrants to view the live webinar. Live participants must be online for the entire duration of the webinar. After the webinar, they will complete a survey to finalize their participation. There are no quiz questions for live participants.
Recorded webinar participants: If the registrant cannot watch the live webinar, they can watch the recorded webinar and complete a quiz within two weeks. They must score at least 70% correct on the quiz to earn pesticide credits. We will only accept the scores from your first 3 attempts at the quiz. For this event, the quiz must be completed by Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Registration is required to receive the link to access the webinar.
A link to the recorded webinar will be emailed to registrants within ten business days after the live event. The recording will be accessible for six months from the event date.
