Penn State Extension continues its webinar series surrounding operational efficiency for dairy producers with a focused session on navigating robotic milking systems. Joe Bender, associate professor of clinical dairy production medicine at University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, will present a practical “Robotic Milking Roadmap,” outlining key considerations before transitioning to automation. The webinar will cover a pre-move-in checklist to support a smooth startup, along with an honest look at end-of-year-one production and financial realities associated with robotic milking, helping producers make informed, strategic decisions for their farms.
