AgWorks: Farm Taxes – Recordkeeping Practices

ABOUT THE LIVE WEBINAR
As the fiscal year comes to a close, it is the perfect time to strengthen your recordkeeping practices and prepare for the year ahead. This session will provide practical strategies to reduce stress and ensure accurate reporting of expenses for tax season. Participants will explore the definitions of income, deductions, and assets, gain clarity on special record requirements, and learn how long records should be kept. The program will also highlight best practices for maintaining effective records. An optional second hour will feature interactive tax scenarios, giving participants the opportunity to apply what they have learned in real-world contexts.

This webinar is open to everyone at no cost, thanks to an AgWorks grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. To help track grant reach and eligibility, participants will be asked questions about their farm or agribusiness during registration. Responses will remain confidential and will not be shared outside the project team.
As part of the AgWorks grant initiative, no-cost training and consultation services are available to qualifying small- to medium-sized farms and agribusinesses in Pennsylvania. For more information, visit AgWorks.
