Annual Corn Improvement Conference

ABOUT THE IN-PERSON CONFERENCE
The 76th Annual Corn Improvement Conference is a two-day event that brings together crop consultants, farmers, students, and academic and extension professionals to discuss the latest developments in corn research and advancements. Participants will gain valuable insights into best management practices for corn grain and silage production, along with an overview of the successes and challenges from the 2024 growing season. Students are welcome to attend and may register to present a poster; they can also give a short oral presentation. Additionally, attendees will explore emerging topics and look ahead to trends shaping the industry in 2025, providing today’s agricultural leaders with the knowledge to stay informed and prepared.
EVENT DETAILS
This two-day event will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers from top agricultural institutions. Participants can enjoy coffee and refreshments to kick off each morning, along with a hot lunch provided on Day 1 and a cold “to-go” lunch on Day 2.

Student Poster Session
Students are welcome to attend the conference and are invited to submit a poster showcasing their work, with two participation options that include awards:
Standard Poster Entry: Students may enter a poster showcasing their work without an oral presentation. Participants in this category will compete for the Standard Poster Award.
Poster Entry with Oral Presentation: Students may enter a poster and deliver a 5-minute oral summary of their work. Participants in this category will compete for the Poster Presentation Award. A link to submit a 150-word abstract for your presentation will be included in your registration confirmation email.
