Applied Dairy Management Series: Transition Cow Systemic Inflammation – The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly is a webinar series available in both Spanish and advanced English, offering a comprehensive exploration of systemic inflammation in dairy cows during the critical transition period. The discussions will delve into the latest physiological discoveries and their application to preventative management practices for both dams and calves. The series also examines the associations between farm management practices, cow behavior, and inflammation, providing actionable recommendations to optimize these components. Additionally, it reviews anti-inflammatory management strategies, both historical and current, and covers the economic impact of these approaches, including the use of feed additives, on production and reproductive performance.
