Arborist Short Course Series

ABOUT THE LIVE WEBINAR

Designed to increase working tree knowledge and professional arborist skills, successful completion of the ten-day Arborist Short Course Series will prepare participants for the ISA Certified Arborist exam, as well as improve their marketability. This certification designates a level of professionalism that most arborists do not have. The course is designed to allow participants to view lectures live or recordings and take the required quizzes to complete the course and receive a certificate of completion and ISA CEUs (if requesting them).

The green industry has responded to this demand for trained professionals by creating certification programs, such as the International Society of Arboriculture’s Certified Arborist credential. Participants taking the Arborist Short Course will be better prepared to obtain the ISA Certified Arborist credential.

It is strongly recommended that you obtain the ISA Certification Study Guide for the course, especially if you are planning to take the ISA Arborist Certification Exam.

Registrants can purchase the Certification Study Guide at a 15% discount from ISA. The discount code and ordering link with instructions are provided in the confirmation email sent after workshop registration.
The discount code is only valid November 1, 2024 through January 30, 2025.

All lectures will be recorded, and participants will be provided access to the recordings and downloadable resources/references on all covered topics.

Certified Arborist Examination

This course provides training for people interested in taking the International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborists Examination. Please note this course does not include the exam.

Credit Information

ISA Arborist CEUs will be available for those who view the sessions (live or recorded) and complete the quizzes with a passing score. Certificates of attendance can be provided upon request for Landscape Architecture CE credits or other professional certifications for those who have completed the course and quizzes.
Registration is required to receive the link to access the webinar.

A link to the recorded webinar will be emailed to registrants within 10 business days after the live event. The recording will be accessible for six months from the event start.
