Creating a Dairy Biosecurity Plan for HPAI
November 3 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

ABOUT THE IN-PERSON WORKSHOP
Designed to aid Pennsylvania dairy producers, this event focuses on creating effective biosecurity plans that align with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture’s (PDA) guidelines to protect herds from HPAI. During this open-house-style event, you will have the opportunity to work with a Penn State Extension Dairy Educator in developing your biosecurity plan for your farm. We will guide you through the essential components and state requirements of a biosecurity plan should your farm be quarantined from an outbreak of HPAI. This is a great opportunity to ensure your dairy farm is practicing everyday biosecurity and is prepared for potential illness outbreaks, safeguarding the health of your animals and the sustainability of your business.
