Empowering Workers and Reducing Stress, a segment of the Hiring and Retention webinar series, addresses stress resiliency and employee motivation strategies to build performance and enhance the work environment. Work stress is a serious problem for the person who suffers from it and for the organization to which it belongs. On a personal level, it impacts performance, productivity, quality of life, and health; at the organizational level, it affects the quality of work, job satisfaction, and staff retention. In this workshop, you will learn how to differentiate the different types of stress, the symptoms, and how to manage them. The workshop will also introduce leaders to concepts that build employee motivation. Participants will learn how leaders can empower and retain good workers.
