This 2-night online workshop is for horse owners to learn all about hay! Horses are made to eat forage, so it’s important to understand how it’s made and how to feed it. On the first night, you will learn how producers make hay, how to safely store hay, and practical advice for buying/selling hay. On the second night, you will learn how hay and hay analysis fit into your horse’s nutrition plan, how mold and toxic plants can affect your horse, and all about sugars in hay.
