The Center for Dairy Excellence is hosting a special “Protecting Your Profits” webinar on Friday, June 21 from 12-1 p.m. Titled “Top 5 Things You Need to Know About Dairy Markets” and led by Valerie Mason-Faith, Risk Education Manager at the Center, the webinar will feature Kathleen Noble Wolfley and Colin Kadis from Ever.Ag. Wolfley and Kadis will give an update on June 2024 dairy market conditions, focusing on five key areas:
1. Milk production dynamics: Current production, cow numbers, margin expectations, replacements, etc.
2. Domestic demand: Retail promotional activity, restaurant traffic, and year-to-date consumption
3. Dairy exports: Performance YTD and what we might expect for the second half
4. Butter: High prices – can they last?
5. Macro Markets: A look at US/global economic trends
They also plan to share details about the Dairy Revenue Protection program. With the last day to transfer agents being June 30, it will give listeners a chance to get the ball rolling if they choose to add Dairy Revenue Protection into their risk management program.

About the Speakers:
Kathleen Noble Wolfley is an agent and broker with Ever.Ag, working with producers to help them make educated and informed decisions on risk management. Kathleen is a student of the dairy industry, with dairy farm roots in upstate New York and more than a decade of experience as a dairy market analyst. She is based in western New York.
Colin Kadis grew up outside Boston, Massachusetts, and graduated from Cornell University. He has worked throughout the dairy supply chain in the US and Europe, from milking cows to analyzing futures markets. He enjoys watching sports, spending time outdoors, and playing Irish traditional music on the accordion. He will be pursuing licensing and certifications to support Ever.Ag brokerage services while also collaborating on business development and sustainability initiatives.
