Urban Gardens and Soil Health
April 19, 2024 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am

ABOUT THE WEBINAR
The COVID-19 pandemic got a lot of folks engaged in gardening, especially in urban settings, for the first time. While gardening in urban settings can be rewarding, it can come with the risk of exposure to heavy metals and other pollutants that can be found in these polluted soils. During Urban Gardens and Soil Health, participants will learn how they can test their soil, examine soil health, and help ensure they are growing healthy food. There will also be a chance to ask a soil scientist, Stephen Dadio, questions about urban soil health.
