VIRTUAL LIVE WEBINAR Winter Care for Sheep and Goats
ABOUT THE WEBINAR
Join Dr. Colt W. Knight, Associate Extension Professor and State Livestock Specialist at the University of Maine, for a webinar on the winter care of sheep and goats. We will discuss winter housing, bedding, proper ventilation, nutrition, and how to provide water in winter months during challenging temperatures. We will include preparing the barn for winter, discuss the increased nutrient demands brought on by winter weather, and what are special considerations to keeping small ruminants comfortable in the winter.
