Spanish/English Exchange for Animal Ag
ABOUT THE IN-PERSON WORKSHOP
The Spanish/English Exchange for Animal Ag course is designed for animal agricultural employees who would like to learn either Spanish or English (others welcome, but vocabulary will focus on the animal industries). Native English and Spanish speakers will learn from each other and the instructors through lessons, conversation, and activities. Topics will include conversational English/Spanish, the fundamentals of both languages, industry-related vocabulary words and phrases, and additional topics as requested by attendees. The course will also serve as a pilot to determine future offerings for agricultural language education.
EVENT DETAILS
Designed for animal agricultural employees, this is a four-session, 2.5-hour interactive course with a focus on the animal industries instructed by native English and Spanish speakers.

What will you learn?
Conversational Spanish/English
Basic/fundamental Spanish/English (colors, weather, days of week, etc.)
Farm safety, job duties, and industry-specific terminology
Additional topics as requested by attendees
