Welcome to the 47TH annual Hay Creek Festival. Our annual heritage festival is the most diverse event in Berks County, Pennsylvania and features over 1,500 volunteers bringing together two centuries of history with authentic demonstrations of early American trades and crafts, mechanical technology exhibits, old time music, and a modern craft & antique market. So “Step into the Past” and immerse yourself in a history that our forefathers would be proud of experiencing.

Admission:
- Adults: $10.00
- Children(6-12): $2.00
- Children 5 and under: FREE
Festival Time:
Attractions 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
In the event of inclement weather the event hours may be altered and/or specific days could be cancelled.
Parking & Shuttle:
Friday, September 8 – All parking is located on the Historic Joanna Furnace grounds. Follow directional signs to Furnace Road.
Saturday, September 9 & Sunday, September 10 — Parking is located on a large field along Route 10 just south of the festival grounds. Follow signs. Visitors will ride our FREE bus service to and from the festival ground. Shuttle Busses run continuously from 10 am to 6 pm. GPS Directions to parking lot: 740 Harmony Road, Morgantown PA 19543.
FREE Parking is available to all festival visitors. For your safety and by order of the local police we ask that you do not park along Route 10.
Handicap Parking – Located on the festival grounds. Follow signs posted on Rt. 10, exit at Furnace Rd.
General Information
Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, & American Express) are accepted at the Festival Admission Gate and our main Ticket Booth.
The Historic Joanna Furnace grounds are hilly and have gravel pathways. For your safety please stay on the pathways and respect our 200 year old structures. Comfortable walking shoes highly encouraged to navigate our site. At no times should you remove any stones or artifacts from the property…. Please respect our historic site, clean up after yourself and leave only your footprints.
First Aid Station is available. Located near the Town Square Stage.
Please note: We are a family friendly event and ask visitors to refrain from profane language and any inappropriate behavior.
Pets are not permitted at our festival.
Due to our jurying policy vendors will not be accepted to our festival within thirty days of our event.
