Optimizing Milk Quality for Value-added Dairy Products: On-farm practices can significantly impact the quality of finished dairy products. However, these practices may not receive as much attention from dairy producers as production and specified quality measures that affect their bottom lines.
Dairy processors monitor specific quality measures critical to producing a high-quality product. The information covered in this workshop will demonstrate the impacts on milk quality related to on-farm practices, including feeding, sanitation and milking practices.
