Penn State’s Ag Progress Days, held annually during three days in August, is Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor agricultural exposition. With over 400 exhibitors from the United States and Canada, there is something for everyone to enjoy at no cost as parking and admission are free. The show is hosted by Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences and showcases educational programs, current research, and the latest innovations in agricultural equipment and technology.

Ag Progress Days (APD), Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor agricultural exposition, is to be held August 13-15, 2024. Show hours: Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m. and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

About the Show
The show is held annually for three days in August, at The Pennsylvania State University’s – Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center. The 2024 show will continue to incorporate a virtual experience to feature our exhibitors and Penn State Extension programs on-demand webinars and Facebook Live-streaming videos, as available. Public Cable Network television coverage after the event is an annual opportunity to visit items you may have missed.

Ag Progress Days features the latest technology and research exhibits, educational programs, and guided tours. Sponsored by Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences, the event will celebrate the forty-eighth year to be held at the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center at Rock Springs, nine miles southwest of State College, PA. It is one of only three agricultural exhibitions in the country sponsored by a major University. Our exhibits showcase the latest in Penn State research, as well as information on best management practices and changing regulations in the agricultural industry.

With over 400 exhibitors from 35 states and 4 provinces of Canada, we have something for everyone. Each year, farming families from across Pennsylvania and surrounding states attend this three-day event. Of the 44,000 expected attendees, over 60 percent are actively engaged in agriculture or related professions. Come and learn about the latest innovations in the agricultural industry and spend your day with Penn State Extension educators.
